Link and Contest!
Woohoo!
So lots of good news right now! Firstly, we are officially linked up to the SBTA website! You can find us on the home page as well as the “News” page.
Secondly, we have a very very exciting contest at the SBTA! We are looking for a new logo. Athletes, coaches, and SBTA members are all invited to design a new logo to represent our provincial organization. You can hand-draw or computer generate it, too. Dig out your crayons, markers, and creativity! Submissions due Aug 31/09. Winner will be announced at the Annual Awards Banquet in October. Just a quick reminder, however. Remember that we are looking for creativity, so remember to submit your own work (don’t borrow images from the internet without permission). Good luck! I can’t wait to see what you can come up with! Here is the contest poster and entry form.
That’s all for now!
Keep smiling!!

New Compulsories Suit!
Hey!
So, good news! The new compulsories suit is finally available! Check out the CBTF website to order yours now! If you are travelling to Australia and competing in compulsories/short program, you must order one. I do believe, however, that if you are competing at Canadians, you have a choice. Full rules, etc., are on the CBTF website. Do remember to get your order in quickly! You must be measured for a “custom-fit” leotard (on the form).
Keep up the lovely work!

Twirl to the Top
Hi Guys!
Congrats on doing so well at TTT! I saw some great performances and lots of big smiles! You should all be very proud of yourselves.
If you are looking, keep your eyes peeled for the results that are posted on the SBTA website! They should be there very soon. Also, check out the paper’s local sports section to see your results – Regina’s Leader Post and Saskatoon’s Star Phoenix. They should be there soon.
To all athlete’s going on to Canadians – good luck! Keep practicing hard! We are very pleased to have such wonderful competitors representing our province.
To those athletes who have finished off their season – well done! You were amazing! It was really great to see everyone improve so much all year. You showed great sportsmanship and always gave 100%. Everyone is so proud of every athlete!
That’s all I have to say for now! If there is anything you need, let me know! The next time I get to see the SBTA board is on June 7. If you have any issues you need addressed, let me know as soon as you can so I can help out.
